As part of the development of TSO, we are looking for an HSE Supervisor.
The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE systems and processes to promote a safe, compliant, and environmentally conscious worksite. The duties include:
- Develop and Maintain HSE Management Plans: Create, implement, and sustain a comprehensive HSE management plan tailored to the unique requirements of the railway construction site.
- Risk Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular HSE risk assessments and safety audits on-site, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations, including industry-specific guidelines for railway construction.
- Safety Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver effective HSE training programs for all site personnel, contractors, and subcontractors. Foster a proactive safety culture through regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and on-site demonstrations.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations into all accidents, incidents, and near misses. Ensure timely reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management within the construction industry, preferably on large-scale projects.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE management plans.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations for railway construction.
Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable. - Proven experience in HSE management in the construction industry, preferably within the railway or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, with the ability to ensure compliance across a complex construction project.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with all site personnel and foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Working hours: 8 hr - 6 days a week.
