As part of the development of our operations in Estonia, we are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee the financial management of our local branches and support a strategic infrastructure project.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the International Chief Financial Officer based in Paris, you will be responsible for the production, reliability and compliance of the project’s accounting and financial data.
You will ensure robust financial processes, compliance with Group standards, and adherence to local Estonian regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Organization & Structuring:
- Set up and supervise the accounting organization of the project/branches (analytical accounting, cost structure, profit centers)
- Build and lead the local accounting team
- Implement and deploy the Group ERP system within the branches.
Accounting & Closing:
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and reliability of project accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes
- Ensure compliance with Group reporting deadlines
Operational Finance & Controls:
- Supervise supplier and subcontractor accounting (contracts, retention guarantees, payments)
- Oversee payroll controls and related financial monitoring
- Ensure robust financial controls and commitment monitoring
Tax & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with tax and social obligations (VAT, withholding taxes, tax treaties, local regulatory requirements)
- Act as the key contact with local tax authorities when required
- Reporting & External Relations
- Prepare financial reporting for Project Management, the Finance Department and partners
- Act as the main point of contact for statutory auditors, banks, legal advisors, consolidation teams and the tax department
- Monitor bonds and guarantees for the branches
- Coordinate finance-related administrative matters
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Minimum years of relevant experience, ideally in construction, infrastructure or project-based environments
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, closing processes and internal controls
International experience is an asset
Fluent in English (mandatory);
